Residents of Benin city in Edo state today September 17th woke up to the shocking discovery of the dead bodies of three children abandoned
at two points along the 2nd East Circular Road by unknown individuals.
Two of the bodies, already in decomposing states, were wrapped and
put in a cardboard box and placed under a palm tree along the road
while the third body of a girl of about a year old was dumped few meters
away from the others along the road by Uwa street junction. Officials of the state Ministry of Environment have since taken the
