when artists leave after they have been made stars
"Well, it can be a bit painful at times. Sometimes, it's discouraging,
I can't lie to you. It is like watching a child you've raised. He goes
through college, university; then gets married, somebody takes them
off you. It can be saddening at times. But you have to let them go, if
you love them. Most of them show appreciation. It can be annoying when
they don't appreciate and don't remember where they were coming from.
But we try to play it down. 'But sometimes it can be a big deal. Fame
and fortune are very difficult to manage.
Somebody that didn't see N20,000 yesterday starts seeing N4 million
per show, he's going to quickly forget Kenny and D-One. But we thank
God we still remain relevant in what we do. And we will continue to do
what we do as long as we love it"

Over 400 Korean War Veteran's names in the U.S.
had been drawn from as many as 5700 programs to attend the fiftieth Anniversary Commemoration of
the signing of the Armistice, July 27, 1953 in Panmunjom,
Korea. My husband Doyle was one of them. They could take any guest they needed but would be
required to pay the visitor airfare. All other costs would be covered in Korea.
This event was sponsored by the Federation of Korean Industries (businessmen) who prepared tours for about one,000 veterans and
visitors (worldwide) symbolizing the 21 nations whose veterans served in Korea
from 1950-'53.
To be completely honest, I was not very amazed
with the food. The first evening, we ate supper at Zuggy's Base Camp.
Bill and I had been each tired, cranky, and hungry.
We sat down at a booth and I seemed about. the first thing I thought was that the place reminded me of
an Outback Steak Home. The menu consisted of pizzas, burgers, and an assortment of fattening appetizers.
Bill and I both ordered cheeseburgers and draft beers.
I overheard our waiter telling an additional celebration that a few of the much more
well-liked appetizers were sold out.
The employees who function powering the counter get bored with the repetition and monotony of their jobs on a daily
